A government minister who disgraced himself by masturbating and recording the act has been dismissed by the president for the disgraceful act.

The President of the  Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Joseph Kabila has succumbed to a public outcry to dismiss his deputy Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Enock Ruberangabo Sebineza, after a video of him masturbating in his office went viral.

He has now been dismissed.
Sebineza was caught redhanded masturbating in his office before commencing work for the day. He was seen smiling and feeling happy after the act.

The 4 minutes and 27 seconds video caused public outcry as many blasted the Minister for such lewd act as they believed his position should have been accorded respect as many people respect and look up to him.

Enock Ruberangabo Sebineza, 54, a notable Tutsi of the Congolese Banyamulenge community has been a President of his community (SHIKAMA) and for many years assumed important responsibilities in the province of South Kivu.

He has prominently participated in the inter-Congolese dialogue, and been national deputy in the transitional parliament (2003-2006).

President Joseph Kabila and Prime Minister Matata Ponyo have been under pressure since Thursday to dismiss Sebineza when the video went viral on the internet and a mobilization of users revolving around a slogan and hashtag: #‎SebinezaMustGo – caught on like a rolling snowball.

Sebineza’s dismissal was announced on State television on Friday evening in a statement in which he was charged with ‘a serious breach of duty and ethics’ unbecoming of the dignity of senior members of government.
