10 Key Facts That Reveal The Absurdity Of Pablo Escobar’s Wealth

The “King of Cocaine” was the son of a poor Colombian farmer, but by the time he was 35, he was one of the world’s wealthiest men.

Despite his humble origins, Pablo Escobar became the leader of the Medellín cartel, which was responsible for 80% of the global cocaine market.

“El Patron” brought in an estimated $420 million a week in revenue, making him one of the wealthiest drug lords ever.
While verifying Escobar’s wealth is impossible because of the nature of drug money, estimates run as high as $30 billion.

1. In the mid-1980s, Escobar’s cartel brought in an estimated $420 million a week, which totals almost $22 billion a year.

2. Escobar made the Forbes’ list of international billionaires for seven years straight, from 1987 until 1993. In 1989, he was listed as the seventh-richest man in the world.

3. By the end of the 1980s, he supplied 80% of the world’s cocaine.

4. He smuggled about 15 tons of cocaine into the US every day.

According to journalist Ioan Grillo, the Medellín cartel smuggled most of its cocaine straight over the Florida coast.

“It was a nine-hundred-mile run from the north coast of Colombia and was simply wide-open. The Colombians and their American counterparts would airdrop loads of blow out to sea, from where it would be rushed ashore in speedboats, or even fly it right onto the Florida mainland and let it crash down in the countryside,” Grillo wrote.

5. In other words, of the Americans doing cocaine, four out of five were snorting lines supplied by “El Patron.”

6. The “King of Cocaine” factored in a $2.1 billion loss in profits each month, but that didn’t really matter.

Escobar’s immense wealth became problematic when he couldn’t launder his cash quickly enough. He resorted to stashing piles of cash in Colombian farming fields, dilapidated warehouses, and in the walls of cartel members’ homes, according to Roberto Escobar, the cartel’s chief accountant and the kingpin’s brother, in his book “The Accountant’s Story: Inside the Violent World of the Medellín Cartel.”

“Pablo was earning so much that each year we would write off 10% of the money because the rats would eat it in storage or it would be damaged by water or lost,” Escobar wrote.

That would be about $2.1 billion, given how much money he was reportedly making. Escobar simply had more money than he knew to do with, so haphazardly losing money to rodents and mold wasn’t an issue.

7. And he expensed $2,500 on rubber bands each month.

While hiding or destroying the exorbitant amount of money was one issue, the brothers faced another, more elementary problem: neatly organizing the banknotes.
According to Roberto Escobar, the Medellín cartel spent an estimated $2,500 a month on rubber bands needed to hold stacks of bills together.

8. Once he started a fire with $2 million because his daughter was cold.

In a 2009 interview with Don Juan magazine, Escobar’s son, Juan Pablo, 38 — who has since changed his name to Sebastián Marroquín — described what life was like on the run with the King of Cocaine.
According to Marroquín, the family was living in a hideout in the Medellín mountainside when Escobar’s daughter, Manuela, became hypothermic.

Escobar decided to torch $2 million in crisp banknotes to keep her warm.

9. He was nicknamed “Robin Hood” after handing out cash to the poor, building housing for the homeless, constructing 70 community soccer fields, and building a zoo.

10. He cut a deal with Colombia to be imprisoned, but in a luxurious prison he built and named “La Catedral” — the cathedral.

In 1991, Escobar was incarcerated in his self-designed prison he named “La Catedral.” In the terms of his agreement with the Colombian government, Escobar was allowed to select who was imprisoned with him and who worked in the prison. He could also continue to run his cartel business and receive visitors.

La Catedral was equipped with a soccer field, barbecue pit, and patios and it was nearby another compound he built for his family. Also, the Colombian authorities were not allowed within 3 miles of his prison.

Media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah Is Under Fire For Alleged Photo Theft

Media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah of TV3 is under fire on Twitter for allegedly stealing pictures some people took of Manchester United players, and passing them off as her own.

While her tweets seem to show that she was actually in England (her location was on) at the time of the tweets, the authenticity of those pictures being hers have come into question after some Twitter users including the supposed real owners of the pictures made claims that she was lying about being there.

The people believed to be the real owners of the pictures had previously put up pictures they took on social media, kuulpeeps.com reports.

They also tweeted at her seeking answers. Apparently, she also posted a picture of their ticket as hers.

Though many believe the TV3 hostess can afford a ticket to watch a game at Old Trafford, it is not clear why the young lady will pick pictures of another person, crop them out- including the ticket- and post them online as hers with its accompanying verbal ‘freezone’.

However, Nana Aba is yet to come to reply to any of these posts and we are waiting on that.

Teenager From Connecticut, USA Who Invented $25 Ebola Detection Test Wins Huge Google Prize

The world could be one step closer to quick and inexpensive Ebola detection thanks to a teenager from Connecticut, USA.

Olivia Hallisey, a junior at Greenwich High School, was awarded $50,000 in scholarship funds in the 2015 Google Science Fair for her innovation that detects Ebola. Olivia’s invention costs $25 a test, can be stored and transported without refrigeration and determines if a person is infected within 30 minutes, according to the contest’s site.

Olivia was inspired to tackle the global issue after watching helplessly from home as more than 10,000 people died from the recent epidemic that ravaged through West Africa, she told CNBC. She was particularly dismayed by the fact that, while early interventions can improve survival rates, current detection methods are costly, time-consuming and require complex tools and constant refrigeration, she noted in her project’s description.

Olivia elicited guidance from her science research teacher and direction from past research according to Greenwich Time, and looked to detection mechanisms that have proven to work with other diseases, including HIV, Lyme disease and yellow fever.

“We have to work together to find answers to the enormous challenges that threaten global health, our environment and our world,” she told Greenwich Time.

The Connecticut teen, who hopes to one day become a physician and work with an aid organization like Doctors Without Borders, was named the Google Science Fair winner after the competition had been whittled down to 20 contestants from across the globe. The fair is open to students in most countries between in the ages of 13 and 18.

Olivia hopes her success will inspire other girls interested in science and computers to pursue their passions.

“I would just encourage girls just to try it in the beginning, remind them that they don’t have to feel naturally drawn or feel like they have a special talent for math or science,” she told CNBC, “but just really just look at something they are interested in and then think how to improve something or make it more enjoyable or relate it to their interests.”

Eight Edible Foods You Should Eat Every Day For Healthy Living

If you’re looking to eat healthier, lose a bit of weight, or enhance your physical and mental abilities, you’re probably looking where to start. Before anything else, it’s important that your diet is loaded with fibre, protein, antioxidants, essential minerals, vitamins – and a whole wealth of other healthy properties.

The phrase that we are what we eat has never been truer, but how about being 10 certain foods? Although it’s difficult to maintain a rigorous diet centred around the same foods, it’s important to remember that some of the foods contained in our list can be eaten as snacks, of used to bulk out your meals. Let’s take a look!

Garlic
A clove or two of garlic can be finely chopped and placed in a wide number of dishes that you cook for dinner. It improves the taste and texture of a meal, and it’s really inexpensive.

Garlic is on this list because of its anti fungal, antiviral, and antibacterial properties. But it also finds its strength through its sulphur compounds, which play the role of antioxidants. A handful of garlic each week can reduce your risk of developing heart disease, as well as a number of cancers, including stomach and prostrate.

Olive Oil
Olive oil is tipped gently into a frying pan before being heated up. Essentially, we use olive oil to cook certain foods with.

Olive oil is actually one of the healthiest fats in the world, and comes from the olive vegetable. Olive oil reduces bad cholesterol, while raising good cholesterol. This is down to its mono saturated fats, as well as its antioxidants which have been found to protect our arterial walls from cholesterol buildup.

Coffee
Starting your morning off with a cup of coffee is an easy way of bringing one of these 10 foods into play. Many of us already drink a cup of Joe to help us kick start the day, and if you’re not one of the converts, you might want to think about the health benefits that coffee has.

A single cup of coffee each day can reduce your risk of skin cancer by around 10%. Considering that skin cancer is now one of the more widely developed cancers around, 10% is considerable and improves your odds reassuringly.

The more you drink, the more you reduce your risk. Careful not to crash, though, and always avoid Decaf if you’re on the lookout for health boosts.

Tomatoes
People seem to have a love or hate relationship with the shiny red fruit, but we at Beauty & Tips absolutely love tomatoes. They’re tasty, versatile, and super healthy.

Tomatoes contain a carotenoid known as lycopene, which is responsible for their red colour. This carotenoid has been found to protect your skin from sunburn, which in turn reduces your risk of developing skin cancer.

Green Tea
If you find coffee unappealing, and weigh its negatives (such as discolouring your teeth and making you feel fuzzy) against its positives, green tea could be the healthy, daily drink for you.

Green tea certainly benefits your immune system more than coffee does. Moreover, it’s also richer in antioxidants, and can boost fat metabolism.

The biggest complaint people tend to have with green tea is that it just doesn’t taste of anything. If this is also your complaint, you could opt for a flavoured variety.

Walnuts
Pretty much all nuts are healthy for you, but walnuts are certainly the cream of the crop. Walnuts have a super long chain of polyunsaturated fats, and indeed have more of these fats than any other nuts.

Just a handful of 30g of walnuts to snack on each day is enough to enhance cell wall composition, and can lower cholesterol level. You can snack on them by themselves, or include in a salad or cake.

Spinach
Spinach may well be green and leafy, and look as weedy as a … well, as aweed, but spinach is no shirker. Indeed, why on earth do you think Popeye ate so much of it?!

Spinach is an established muscle-builder, and is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, and folate, the latter of which can reduce your risk of stroke, osteoporosis and heart disease. Spinach is also loaded with an antioxidant called lutein, which slows down macular degeneration.

Or, you could try spinach’s stronger brother, kale, another leafy green which has been called the new beef.

Grapefruit

Grapefruit, otherwise known as The New You, is a super healthy fruit that cannot be ignored any longer.

Grapefruit can help you trim belly fat, and it can also reduce your insulin levels, thereby improving your body’s ability to metabolise sugar. This is great news for diabetes patients in particular.

The biggest problem you might have with grapefruit is stomaching one every single day. It has a rich, zesty flavour that can often be overpowering.

For this reason, we suggest that you find a way to incorporate it into your daily diet. Perhaps you could drink a glass of grapefruit juice, or squeeze a pinch onto your meals to give them a punch.

Game Of Thrones Bag Emmy Record Of The Year With 12 Wins Including Best Drama Series

Game of Thrones picked up a record-breaking 12 awards, including best drama series at this year’s Emmys in Los Angeles.

Viola Davis also made history by becoming the first black woman to win the best lead actress prize for her role in How To Get Away With Murder.

Jon Hamm finally won a best actor award for Mad Men in the show’s last year. He had been nominated seven times before.
Political comedy Veep was the winner in the best comedy series category.

And Inside Amy Schumer was named best variety sketch series.

It was the first time since it began in 2011 that Game of Thrones had won the best drama series award. Its other accolades included best writing, best direction and best supporting actor for Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister.

Amazon’s comedy-drama Transparent won awards for best director in a comedy and for its lead actor, Jeffrey Tambor, who plays a transgender college professor.

The show also picked up best guest actor in a comedy for former West Wing star Bradley Whitford.
Viola Davis won her Emmy for lead actress in a drama thanks to her role as a tough criminal defence lawyer in ABC’s How to Get Away With Murder.

Accepting her award, she said: “The only thing that separates women of colour from anyone else is opportunity.

Jon Hamm, who played Don Draper in the drama Mad Men, set in an advertising agency primarily in the 1960s, said: “It’s incredible and impossible for me personally to be standing here.”

Julia Louis-Dreyfus won best comedy actress for the fourth time for playing Selina Meyer on Veep, while Tony Hale, who plays her bag man, was again named best comedy supporting actor.

Veep, which is set in the office of the fictional vice-president and subsequent president of the United States, Selina Meyer, also won the comedy writing statuette.

The show’s win for best comedy ended a fiver-year winning streak for sitcom Modern Family – dashing the cast’s hopes of beating Frasier, which also has five wins in the category.

Uzo Aduba, who plays Suzanne ‘Crazy Eyes’ Warren in Netflix prison series Orange is the New Black, was named best supporting actress in a drama.

The TV Academy awarded only four prizes to the main US broadcast networks. But while the pre-awards talk had revolved around streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon, it was cable channel HBO that swept the board, with shows like Veep, Game of Thrones and Olive Kitteridge performing well.

The latter picked up six awards, including best mini-series, best lead actor in a mini-series or movie (Richard Jenkins), lead actress (Frances McDormand) and supporting actor (Bill Murray).

Andy Samberg hosted the show, his first time at the helm of a major awards ceremony.

Variety’s Brian Lowry wasn’t overly impressed with Samberg’s debut: “What mostly came across, gradually, was that Samberg’s approach just didn’t wear especially well. He plays better in bite-sized bits, and his sprightly setup/joke rhythms yielded diminishing returns over the course of the evening.”

But USA Today reviewer Robert Bianco was a little more effusive.

“For most viewers, the show only works if the host works, and Samberg did just fine. Like all modern awards show hosts, he did throw a few jabs at some of the folks in the room, but they were generally mild, which is what the job requires.”

'Tupac Is Still Alive’, Policeman On Death Bed Reveals He Took $1.5m To Fake It All

There have been numerous conspiracy theories over the years that Tupac faked his death, but the latest one is certainly intriguing.

A police officer has reportedly claimed from his deathbed that he was paid $1.5million to help the rapper fake his death back in 1996.

Tupac Shakur, also known as 2Pac, was famously shot at the age of 25 in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. But officer David Myers has coming forward to say the rapper didn’t really die.

According to reports, he said:  ‘The world needs to know what I did. I’m ashamed that I let a price be put on my word and I cannot die without letting the world know.’

He allegedly claimed Suge Knight helped him, and the pair were just two of several in the know about the fake death. The officer also apparently claimed Tupac paid $50,000 for a body double to be cremated.

However, before we all get comfortable with this new theory, it looks like it’s probably a hoax. Since the story broke it has emerged that the site that carried the original story is a hoax site with suggestions that David Myers doesn’t actually exist.
It’s one in a long line of conspiracy theories that the rapper is actually still alive. One theory is that the stage name he sometimes performed under – Makaveli – holds a link to what happened as it is a reference to Niccolò Machiavelli, who faked his own death.

Another is that the man who cremated Tupac allegedly disappeared never to be seen again, suggesting he was never really cremated.

Is Tupac still out there? Has he been in hiding for 20 years? What’s going on?

Donald Trump - I Can Defend President Obama From Muslim Jibe

Donald Trump has said it is “not his job” to defend Barack Obama, after criticism from fellow Republicans for not correcting a supporter who said the US president was a Muslim.

The frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination tweeted there was “no chance” Mr Obama would defend him if he was similarly attacked.

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has said Mr Trump should apologise.

The tycoon cancelled his appearance at a big Republican event on Friday.

His campaign team said he had pulled out of the Heritage Foundation because of a “significant business transaction” that needed his attention.

The criticism has been piling up since a man at Mr Trump’s rally in New Hampshire on Thursday night prefaced a question by saying Mr Obama was a Muslim and “not even an American”.

The supporter went on to say: “We have a problem in this country – it’s called Muslims.”

Mr Trump let it go unchallenged and within a few hours, Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton said his failure to denounce “hateful rhetoric” was “disturbing and wrong”.

And on Friday his Republican competitors for the nomination waded into the row.

“He’s playing into this hateful narrative and he has to set it right,” said Mr Graham, who said he would never question the president’s faith or patriotism.

Leaders have an “obligation” to correct such statements, said another Republican presidential hopeful, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

But Mr Trump hit back in a series of tweets: “Am I morally obligated to defend the president every time somebody says something bad or controversial about him? I don’t think so!

“If someone made a nasty or controversial statement about me to the president, do you really think he would come to my rescue? No chance!”

Mr Trump added that if he had challenged the man he would have been accused of interfering with his right to free speech.

President Obama, who has spoken openly about his Christian faith, was born to an American mother and Kenyan father in Hawaii.

But Mr Trump has been one of the leading sceptics, challenging Mr Obama in 2011 to produce his birth certificate to disprove rumours that he was born in Kenya, which the president did.

With more than a year until polling day, the businessman is ahead of his Republican rivals in the polls despite having no political experience

Amazing Test Tube Baby: Life Is Joy!

Miss Hannatu Kupchi, the test-tube baby, born through in- vitro fertilisation (IVF) when it was pioneered in Nigeria has secured admission to study medicine in a Hungarian university is not only great news for her parents, it is worthy of celebration by all who appreciate life and its inherent joy.

Hannatu’s birth and subsequent growth to becoming an undergraduate is a source of pride to the Kupchi family who had endured 13 years of marriage without a child, the pleasant irony of the girl opting to become a doctor too speaks volume of her own appreciation of who she is and what is expected of her. She got her life through a process that was far from easy for her and her parents and she is ready to live that life saving lives.

Though, widely celebrated as the first IVF baby in Nigeria, Hannatus’ birth actually came nine years after the first successful IVF baby boy, Olushina Eghosa Oluwaremilekun, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Pius Oni at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba. Professors Oladapo Ashiru and Osato Giwa-Osagie, two of the best names in reproductive medicine in the world who are proudly Nigerian, performed that feat in 1989.

As a matter of fact therefore, Hannatu’s birth on February 11, 1998 at Nisa Premier Hospital in Abuja was the second in Nigeria in this field of assisted reproductive medicine. These landmark medical breakthroughs accomplished by Nigerian doctors are deserving of national acknowledgement.

Speaking during a reception and presentation of an award to Miss Kupchi the other day, the Medical Director of Nisa Hospital, who supervised the birth, Dr. Ibrahim Wada, said that Hannatu Kupchi’s case marked the fulfillment of a dream in his medical career. He said he realised while abroad that there were people who wanted babies and he came back to Nigeria to help such people. February 11, 1998, the day Hannatu was born at his hospital was naturally a great day but that the baby of that historic day is going to become a doctor made the fulfillment more dizzying.

An elated Hannatu Kupchi has promised to break barriers and become the kind of doctor who would also help parents who are unable to give birth naturally achieve their dream. She appropriately noted that by her birth, misconceptions about IVF were broken and that many more children had been born through the same process.
What else could gladden the heart of a family after years of untold anguish looking for a baby than the birth of one?

That Kupchi has come of age to go to university adds to the joy of her assisted conception and birth. This and many other feats show what is already globally acknowledged that medical practice is excellent in Nigeria and Nigerian doctors are among the best in the world with the capacity to accomplish great things if given the right environment. The onus is on government to create the conducive environment and give necessary support to the experts in different fields of medicine to develop.

Whereas, IVF is relatively new in Nigeria, the pioneering work on it was done in 1977 by Steptoe and Edwards, which resulted in the birth of the world’s first test-tube baby, Louise Brown, on July 25, 1978, at the Oldham General Hospital in the United Kingdom. About two months later, a girl named Durga, was born by the same method of in-vitro fertilisation developed by Dr. Subhash Mukhopadhyay in Kolkata, India.
Ever since then, doctors and researchers around the world have been working hard to advance this area of medical practice in the interest of childless couples.

In-vitro fertilization (IVF) is a process whereby a woman’s egg is fertilised by the man’s sperm outside the body. Usually complicated and requiring meticulous expertise, the process involves monitoring and stimulating the woman’s ovulation. An ovum (egg) is removed from the woman’s ovary and fertilised with sperm in a liquid medium.
The fertilised egg or zygote is cultured for up to six days and then implanted in the uterus of the same or another woman to establish pregnancy.

IVF can be used in different situations. Here in Nigeria, the technique is used mainly in the treatment of infertility. Certainly joy has been brought to many families, who desire children, through IVF.
Hannatu Kupchi is testament to how life, no matter its origin, is joy that must be nurtured to its best and to its fullest.

12 New Buttons Facebook Needs To Add

Facebook is introducing a ‘Dislike’ button. Or at least something like it, for people to “express empathy” for status updates they feel awkward about liking – from people posting about the death of a loved one to news stories about crises.

“Not every moment is a good moment,” said Mark Zuckerberg, as he confirmed that work had begun on an alternative.

Why stop there, though? The average Facebook feed is full of stories begging responses beyond “Like” or even “Dislike”. If you’re reading, Zuck, here are some more candidates for shipping as soon as possible. Please.

From baby boredom to Candy Crush begging, once the social network starts adding new buttons, it’s hard to know where it should stop

1. ‘U OK hun?’
Sounds similar to the empathy button being worked on by Facebook, but for many of us this would play a different role: a coded “stop moaning” for friends who can’t stop posting passive-aggressive complaints.

2. ‘I’ve had better in Wimpy’
Tough love for friends who just can’t stop posting their Instagram burger shots.

3. ‘Mum, step AWAY from the emoji keyboard’
“That’s enough smiles and dancing ladies for this week. And between that’s not a happy brown ice cream.”

4. ‘That’s racist’
As ideal for friends sharing far-right memes as it is for the latest unpleasant news story. This button even ships with its own GIF.

5. ‘Dad, this is obviously a hoax’
“Remember that conversation we had about checking Snopes before sharing?”

6. ‘Emotional blackmail’
For when you don’t want your sympathy for sick children/endangered animals to be measured on whether you share a bad-fonted info-graphic with dodgy grammar.

7. ‘I DON’T PLAY CANDY CRUSH ANY MORE AND I HAVE NO LIVES TO GIVE’
“But can you help me unlock the emo goose in Crossy Road?”

8. ‘I give it a year’
A short, sharp burst of cynicism for the 374 wedding shots that just appeared in your feed. Even better when deployed by the parents.

9. ‘It’s raining here I hate you’
Catch-all response for any photograph that includes a blue sky, water, a cocktail and a pair of legs.

10. ‘Your baby looks like all the other babies!’
Harsh, but they’ll thank you for it. Eventually.

11. ‘Clickbait’
Those made-for-viral slideshows won’t downrate themselves. Approximately 4.7 seconds after this article is published, someone will suggest this button for the Guardian in the comments.

12. ‘No’

Football Star John Mikel Obi Welcomes Twin

Nigeria’s Super eagle John Mikel Obi welcomed twins some four hours ago.

Mikel on his Facebook page wrote

“My whole world in my arms
Welcome to the world my angels"

Vincent Enyeama, Mikel in Eagles’ 24-man Team For Internationals Friendly Against Congo, Cameroun

Super Eagles’ Head Coach, Sunday Oliseh, has listed goalkeeper and skipper Vincent Enyeama, midfielder John Mikel Obi and forwards Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo among 24 players for next month’s friendly internationals against Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon in Belgium.

Facebook Will Soon Introduce 'Dislike' Button

Facebook is to add a “dislike” button to its social network, founder Mark Zuckerberg has said.

In a Q A session held at Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California, the 31-year-old said the button would be a way for people to express empathy.

He said Facebook was “very close” to having it ready for user testing.

A “dislike” button has been constantly requested by some users since the introduction of the now-iconic “like” button in 2009.
“People have asked about the ‘dislike’ button for many years,” Mr Zuckerberg told the audience on Tuesday.

“Probably hundreds of people have asked about this, and today is a special day because today is the day that I actually get to say we are working on it, and are very close to shipping a test of it.”

However he went on to say he did not want it to be a mechanism with which people could “down vote” others’ posts.

Instead, it will be for times when clicking “like” on “sad” posts felt insensitive.

Prof Andrea Forte, an expert in social and participatory media at Drexel University in Philadelphia, said users will not suddenly turn on each other’s posts.

In an email, she wrote: “They may use a dislike button to express some negative emotions (like frustration with ads popping up in their feeds) but I doubt it will cause them to start wantonly disliking pictures of their friends’ babies, dogs, cats and cooking experiments.

“I suspect it will mainly be used to express mild disapproval, or to express solidarity when someone posts about a negative event like a death or a loss.”

Three ways That can make you irresistible to woman

Approaching girls is tough work. I actually have approached many females to raise them questions on the likes of men, dating, relationships and commitment and each single lady was discouraging to initiate a spoken language with. praise to you!

In this article, I actually have tried to provide you some thoughtful and outdoors of the sq. tips to use on girls that come back from a lady. the following tips square measure most applicable to use on a date or within the formative geological dating stages to extend her level of attraction to you.

My recommendation could appear counter intuitive, but girls have one thing in common with men - we tend to all wish what we will not have. thus if you say and do things to a lady to create her question herself and whether or not or not you're into her, then you'll increase her perception of your worth. this can be what you must be aiming for in the slightest degree respect} times - an inaccessible conduct.

Good spoken language skills play such a very important role in building attraction in girls - thence why all of my three tips square measure informal in nature. you may use thousands of pickup lines to seduce girls, however invariably they're lame and bromide and therefore ineffective. There square measure different much more strategic and sure-fire ways that of act to a lady to create you seem assured and alpha male-like in nature.

The first approach you'll be able to increase your attractiveness is to emit mixed messages. A mixed message could be a signal that seems to mean one factor once actually it means that one thing entirely totally different. for instance, you may look her sq. within the eyes with a come back here expression so tell her that you just do not very realize her engaging. don't be concerned concerning bombing your probabilities with a lady, most ladies square measure about to understand that you just like them, however doing this can create them question themselves and tell them another factor - that you just square measure assured and stable.

The second strategy you'll be able to apply to geological dating a lady is that the powerful combination of standing your ground and compromising at identical time. most ladies do not understand what quantity of a buckling have an effect on this has on them. for instance, it's going to be that she needs to travel out on a weekday night after you were committed to hanging along with your friends and look 'the game'. thus one weekend withdraw together with her however following time she asks to possess the slot that you just would otherwise pay along with your boys, stand your ground and say you have got one thing else on and schedule instead. Again, don't be concerned concerning losing her. By doing this her perception of your worth can go up markedly.

The third factor you'll be able to tell a lady to extend your attractiveness is pay her a contradictory compliment. A contradictory compliment is each a place down ANd an expression of appreciation and praise to a lady. On the one hand she is going to understand that you just square measure paying her a compliment however she is going to additionally note your assertive insulting undertone. It causes you to appealing as a result of it's screaming and it shows her that you just are not afraid to place her in her place, nor square measure you fearful of losing her. Some females might throw a wobbly after you place them in their place however inside, we would like the guy to be the dominant one. Below is AN example of a perverted compliment:

"You look fantastic... for a thirty year recent woman". after you say "you look fantastic" pause a flash afterward so close up your sentence. Now, most ladies can seem to be abused by this feedback. however ignore that and continue talking ordinarily to her. she is going to understand that you just were which means it in a very funny and humorous  approach. It's no secret that ladies love guys that may create them laugh.

Again, do not be afraid to lose a lady. A might care less angle is that the right approach to require with girls. If you appear too keen, she is going to presumably trample everywhere you.

New Apple TV, iPad Pro And iPhone 6S Handsets Unveiled

Apple has unveiled a larger iPad tablet, a TV box with its own app store and new iPhones that can detect how firmly their screens are being pressed.

The firm suggested the iPad Pro was suited to work tasks, video games and both editing and watching movies.

Sales of the company’s earlier iPads had been on the decline.

Apple said the “3D touch” feature of its new phones “transformed” the experience of using them by making it easier to use and switch between apps.

Huawei demonstrated its own version of the feature – which it called “force touch” – at its own launch event last week.

Bigger iPad

The iPad Pro has a 12.9in (32.8cm) display, making its shortest edge the length of its earlier iPad Air 2’s height.

Apple sold 19% fewer iPads between the start of October and the end of June as it did during the same period a year earlier.

One expert suggested that the new model could reinvigorate sales.

The iPad Pro’s bigger screen may appeal to people wanting to work in split-screen modes
“As much as the iPad is experiencing some challenging times, it’s vastly more successful than any other tablet on the market and it’s still a multi-billion dollar business,” said Geoff Blaber from the CCS Insight consultancy.

“Moreover, what’s happened is there’s been cannibalisation from larger screened iPhones.

“A larger-screened iPad should definitely breathe some life into the category. But the price will be a barrier for many.”
Apple said the new tablet offered similar processing power to 80% of the portable PCs that were sold over the past six months.
Apple announced a new stylus and keyboard cover for the larger iPad
The iPad Pro will be launched alongside an optional magnetically-connected keyboard – which resembles a similar accessory for Microsoft’s Surface tablet.

In addition, the firm announced a stylus called the Apple Pencil, which has sensors in its tip to help mimic the effect of using a real pencil on paper.

One demo showed how the pressure-sensitive stylus could be used to edit anatomy images
The announcement is notable since the firm’s ex-chief executive Steve Jobs said in 2010: “If you see a stylus, they blew it.”

Apple said the iPad Pro should run for 10 hours of use between charges and would be available in November and range from $799 to $1,079 (£520 to £702) depending on its level of storage and 4G connectivity.

The Pencil costs $99 and the keyboard $169.

Tablet computing is great, but it could be said that the iPad’s Achilles heel was that it was great as a consuming device, but if you wanted to really do something, get work done, it wasn’t ideal.

Apple is trying to address that with the iPad Pro. It’s enormous, but not bulky, even if it does come in heavier than the original iPad at 1.67lbs (0.76kg).

Crucially, it has some intriguing input devices.

It’s easy to scoff at Apple making a crowd cheer and whoop at a “pencil”, but it’s a big step forward for the most popular tablet on the market.

Making the iPad a “doing” service makes it a really formidable product, and one that should eat into netbook sales.

Apple TV

Chief executive Tim Cook also unveiled a new set top TV box with its own app store and new operating system.

The device uses a remote control that features a touch-sensitive panel and a microphone that allows it to be voice-operated.

It uses the firm’s Siri virtual assistant to let owners ask what shows or movies based on their desired themes or favourite actors are available, and can bring back results from a range of services.

In addition, it can play video games.

The Apple TV can be controlled by voice or a swipe of the controller’s touch surface
“The future of TV is apps,” declared Mr Cook. The firm had previously described its TV boxes as a “hobby”.

Apple was one of the first tech companies to offer an internet-connected TV box, but Amazon, Roku and several smart TV-makers beat it to offering an app-focused experience.

Mr Cook acknowledged it had taken his company several years to introduce a TV app store.

“I don’t think they have missed an opportunity by waiting until now,” commented Ian Maude from Enders Analysis.

“There’s a lot of people out there who want to watch content that is only available online from the TV, and if Apple can show its device does things better than the alternatives you would expect them to start winning market share pretty quickly.”

Apple did not unveil a rumoured TV shows and movies subscription package of its own for the box, but Mr Blaber suggested that might follow next year.

“Broadcast content remains the challenge but growth in Apple TV will ultimately leave content providers with little option,” he said.

The new Apple TV offers an alternative to dedicated video game consoles
Much of the Apple TV presentation was dedicated to the video games it can play. The remote is motion sensitive, and works in a similar fashion to Nintendo’s Wii controllers.

The US firm has already had huge success with video game sales on its iPhones.

But one industry watcher questioned how disruptive the new box would be as a gaming device.

“There are already plenty of examples of set-top boxes and micro-consoles that play games, but none of those has had a dramatic impact on the market,” commented Piers Harding-Rolls from IHS Technology.

“That’s not to say that Apple entering the market won’t be significant.

“But when you think of what the high-end consoles can do – allowing things like Sony’s forthcoming Morpheus VR headset – what they offer can’t be replicated in terms of power.”

The idea behind the new iPhone’s 3D Touch feature is that users can call up different functions by pressing the handsets’ screens firmly.

Examples of how it can be used include:

  •     previewing an email or photo
  •     swapping weapons in a video game
  •     quickly switching into selfie photo mode

The handsets also gain the ability to shoot 4K videos – which means four times the amount of pixels of 1080p high definition video.

In addition, their back cameras have been upgraded to offer 12 megapixels rather than eight – Apple said it had ensured the extra resolution had not come at the cost of more noise.

The iPhones also get a processor boost. They will go on sale in a fortnight’s time.

One expert remarked that the upgrades were not as big as had been seen in some years, but were likely still enough to continue year-on-year sales gains.

Manufacturer     Handset shipments between July 2014 and June 2015   Year-on-year change

Apple                                    222.45 million                                                       +35.9%

Samsung                            310.02 million                                                       -6.9%

Huawei                            87.02 million                                                         +38.2%

Xiaomi                              67.72 million                                                        +91.8%

Lenovo (incl Motorola)          85.35 million                                                  +11.1%

LG                                         45.09 million                                                  -13.6%

“In developed markets Apple has a huge potential to sell to existing iPhone users who were not able to upgrade when the iPhone 6 launched because they were tied to contracts and then decided to wait until now,” commented Francisco Jeronimo from the research firm IDC.

“But in markets like China it’s about attracting new users.

“Those who were not attracted by the iPhone before will probably continue not to be interested.

“For the others, the new features themselves will not make a significant difference – it’s more important for Apple to grow awareness of its products.”

Watch update

Apple also announced an upgrade to its smartwatch operating system that will be released on 16 September.

Watch OS 2 will allow third-party apps to run natively on the device rather than relying on a linked smartphone’s processor.

In addition to loading faster, the apps will also gain the ability to play video and access the Watch’s microphone and sensors.

GoPro is taking advantage of this to allow users to see live streams from its action cameras on Apple’s wearable.

Facebook also revealed it is bringing its Messenger app to the platform.

Scientist Have Discovered Human-Like Species In S Africa

Scientists have discovered a new human-like species in a burial chamber deep in a cave system in South Africa.

The discovery of 15 partial skeletons is the largest single discovery of its type in Africa.

The researchers claim that the discovery will change ideas about our human ancestors.

The studies which have been published in the journal Elife also indicate that these individuals were capable of ritual behaviour.

The species, which has been named naledi, has been classified in the grouping, or genus,Homo, to which modern humans belong.
The researchers who made the find have not been able to find out how long ago these creatures lived – but the scientist who led the team, Prof Lee Berger, told BBC News that he believed they could be

among the first of our kind (genus Homo) and could have lived in Africa up to three million years ago.
Like all those working in the field, he is at pains to avoid the term “missing link”. Prof Berger says naledi could be thought of as a “bridge” between more primitive bipedal primates and humans.

“We’d gone in with the idea of recovering one fossil. That turned into multiple fossils. That turned into the discovery of multiple skeletons and multiple individuals.

“And so by the end of that remarkable 21-day experience, we had discovered the largest assemblage of fossil human relatives ever discovered in the history of the continent of Africa. That was an extraordinary experience.”

Prof Chris Stringer of the Natural History Museum said naledi was “a very important discovery”.

“What we are seeing is more and more species of creatures that suggests that nature was experimenting with how to evolve humans, thus giving rise to several different types of human-like creatures originating in parallel in different parts of Africa. Only one line eventually survived to give rise to us,” he told BBC News.

I went to see the bones which are kept in a secure room at Witwatersrand University. The door to the room looks like one that would seal a bank vault. As Prof Berger turned the large lever on the door, he told me that our knowledge of very early humans is based on partial skeletons and the occasional skull.
The haul of 15 partial skeletons includes both males and females of varying ages – from infants to
elderly. The discovery is unprecedented in Africa and will shed more light on how the first humans evolved.

“We are going to know everything about this species,” Prof Berger told me as we walked over to the remains of H. naledi.

“We are going to know when its children were weaned, when they were born, how they developed, the speed at which they developed, the difference between males and females at every developmental stage from infancy, to childhood to teens to how they aged and how they died.”

A chronology of human evolution

Ardipithecus ramidus (4.4 million years ago) : Fossils were discovered in Ethiopia in the 1990s. Pelvis shows adaptations to both tree climbing and upright walking.

Australopithecus afarensis (3.9 – 2.9 million years ago) : The famous “Lucy” skeleton belongs to this species of human relative. So far, fossils of this species have only been found in East Africa. Several traits in the skeleton suggest afarensis walked upright, but they may have spent some time in the trees.

Homo habilis (2.8 – 1.5 million years ago) : This human relative had a slightly larger braincase and smaller teeth than the australopithecines or older species, but retains many more primitive features such as long arms.

Homo naledi (Of unknown age, but researchers say it could be as old as three million years) : The new discovery has small, modern-looking teeth, human-like feet but more primitive fingers and a small braincase.

Homo erectus (1.9 million years – unknown) : Homo erectus had a modern body plan that was almost indistinguishable from ours. But it had a smaller brain than a modern person’s combined with a more primitive face.

Homo neanderthalensis (200,000 years – 40,000 years) The Neanderthals were a side-group to modern humans, inhabiting western Eurasia before our species left Africa. They were shorter and more muscular than modern people but had slightly larger brains.

Homo sapiens (200,000 years – present) Modern humans evolved in Africa from a predecessor species known as Homo heidelbergensis. A small group of Homo sapiens left Africa 60,000 years ago and settled the rest of the world, replacing the other human species they encountered (with a small amount of interbreeding).

I was astonished to see how well preserved the bones were. The skull, teeth and feet looked as if they belonged to a human child – even though the skeleton was that of an elderly female.

Its hand looked human-like too, up to its fingers which curl around a bit like those of an ape.

Homo naledi is unlike any primitive human found in Africa. It has a tiny brain – about the size of a gorilla’s and a primitive pelvis and shoulders. But it is put into the same genus as humans because of the more progressive shape of its skull, relatively small teeth, characteristic long legs and modern-looking feet.

“I saw something I thought I would never see in my career,” Prof Berger told me.

“It was a moment that 25 years as a paleoanthropologist had not prepared me for.”

One of the most intriguing questions raised by the find is how the remains got there.

I visited the site of the find, the Rising Star cave, an hour’s drive from the university in an area known as the Cradle of Humankind. The cave leads to a narrow underground tunnel through which some of Prof Berger’s team crawled in an expedition funded by the National Geographic Society.

Small women were chosen because the tunnel was so narrow. They crawled through darkness lit only by their head torches on a precarious 20 minute-long journey to find a chamber containing hundreds of bones.

Among them was Marina Elliott. She showed me the narrow entrance to the cave and then described how she felt when she first saw the chamber.

“The first time I went to the excavation site I likened it to the feeling that Howard Carter must have had when he opened Tutankhamen’s tomb – that you are in a very confined space and then it opens up and all of a sudden all you can see are all these wonderful things – it was incredible,” she said.

Ms Elliott and her colleagues believe that they have found a burial chamber. The Homo naledi people appear to have carried individuals deep into the cave system and deposited them in the chamber – possibly over generations.

If that is correct, it suggests naledi was capable of ritual behaviour and possibly symbolic thought – something that until now had only been associated with much later humans within the last 200,000 years.

Prof Berger said: “We are going to have to contemplate some very deep things about what it is to be human. Have we been wrong all along about this kind of behaviour that we thought was unique to modern humans?

“Did we inherit that behaviour from deep time and is it something that (the earliest humans) have always been able to do?”

Prof Berger believes that the discovery of a creature that has such a mix of modern and primitive features should make scientists rethink the definition of what it is to be human – so much so that he himself is reluctant to describe naledi as human.

Other researchers working in the field, such as Prof Stringer, believe that naledi should be described as a primitive human. But he agrees that current theories need to be re-evaluated and that we have only just scratched the surface of the rich and complex story of human evolution.
