Keyboard shortcuts can save you time as you use Windows 10. You probably already know about Ctrl + C and Ctrl +V (copy and paste), but we're here to tell you 21 other shortcuts that you should know when using Windows 10. Some of these shortcuts might already be familiar to you, but think of new users who just switched from a Mac or simply have relied more on mice or touchscreens.

Windows key + A Open Action center

Windows key + C Open Cortana in listening mode

Windows key + D Display and hide the desktop

Windows key + E Open File Explorer

Windows key + H Open the Share charm

Windows key + I Open Settings

Windows key + L Lock your PC or switch accounts

Windows key + S Open Search

Windows key + Number Open the app pinned to the taskbar in the position indicated by the number.

Windows key + Arrow key Snap app windows left, right, corners, maximize, or minimize
